Ridership Survey for East-West Passenger Rail Study

Feasibility of East-West Intercity Passenger Rail Service for Washington State

The Washington State Legislature has directed the Joint Transportation Committee to conduct a feasibility analysis of an east-west intercity passenger rail service for Washington State. The analysis will look at passenger rail service between Seattle and Spokane specifically via the Stampede Pass corridor connecting with Auburn, Cle-Elum, Yakima, Ellensburg, Tri-Cities, Toppenish and Spokane.

We want to hear your opinion on various proposed rail services, and to learn which ones you value most and why. The aim of this survey is to help us understand the mobility needs of residents and visitors, current travel patterns, and the relative attractiveness of various rail service attributes in the corridor.

Survey code: move

This survey is about travel that you have made within this corridor in the last six months. Information about where and how you travel can help transportation agencies plan for future needs, so your careful response to this survey will be very important in helping to shape the future of this region.
