BFCG’s SFY 2021 UPWP Released for Public Comment
The Benton-Franklin Council of Governments has released its draft State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2021 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) for public comment. The Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) describes the transportation planning activities undertaken by our agency. Tasks included in the UPWP are the result of issues identified by the ongoing MPO/RTPO planning process. The MPO/RTPO is governed by the BFCG Board and is supported by the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) which hold meetings once a month. Public comments on the draft SFY 2021 UPWP will be accepted through April 17. To view the document, please follow the link below.

Regional Active Transportation Plan Open House
The Benton-Franklin Council of Governments (BFCG) will be hosting a public open house for the Regional Active Transportation Plan (ATP) on January 22, 2020 at the Pasco Library (1320 W Hospkins Street) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Topics will include: BFCG’s 2020 ATP update, Tri-Cities’ current and future active transportation network, 2020 Tri-Cities Bike Map, performance measures for tracking active transportation, and strategies to increase active transportation in the Benton-Franklin region.

BFCG 2020 Regional Traffic Count Program: Request for Proposals
The Benton-Franklin Council of Governments (BFCG) is requesting submittals from qualified consultants for the 2020 BFCG Regional Traffic Count Program in Benton and Franklin Counties. Three (3) copies of the proposal must be submitted to the BFCG by or before Friday, December 27, 2019 at 1622 Terminal Drive, Richland, WA 99354 or electronically to email@example.com.
