Benton-Franklin Council of Governments Board Meeting

The Benton-Franklin Council of Governments Board meet on the third Friday of each month at noon at El Chapala Mexican Restaurant, 107 E. Columbia Drive, Kennewick,unless noted otherwise (2017 Regular Meeting Schedule). The public is welcome to attend and there is opportunity for public comment. All meeting dates are subject to change, please see meeting calendar for details. 

Notice: It has been determined to cancel the November BFCG/EDD Board meeting, due to lack of action items and other events that same date requiring the attendance of many of our Board. Please anticipate our regular Board meetings to resume December 15th, 2017 at El Chapala Mexican Restaurant in Kennewick.

Policy Advisory Committee Meeting (PAC)

The Policy Advisory Committee (PAC) is comprised of engineers and planners representing local jurisdictions, agencies, special purpose districts and the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) South Central Region. It’s purpose is to provide policy review and guidance to activities and projects that will eventually require adoption by the BFCG Board and/or local jurisdictions. The Policy Advisory Committee usually meets on the second Thursday of the month or the week following the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). Our office serves as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Tri-Cities area in southeastern Washington State. We also serve as the Regional Transportation Planning Organization (RTPO) for jurisdictions within Benton & Franklin counties.
