Draft BFCG Public Participation Plan

The Benton-Franklin Council of Governments (BFCG) recognizes that an effective public participation process is a vital element in the development and implementation of transportation plans and programs. The Public Participation Plan (PPP) outlines methods and resources used by BFCG to effectively engage, notify and coordinate with the public, stakeholders, and partner agencies.

Draft BFCG Title VI Plan

source site The Benton-Franklin Council of Governments (BFCG) has drafted an updated Title VI Plan. The Title VI of 1964 Civil Rights Act provides that no person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or otherwise subject to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.
