Human Services Public Transportation Workshop

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION WORKSHOP

The Benton-Franklin Council of Governments, in cooperation with People for People, the Arc of Tri-Cities, the Washington State Department of Transportation and Ben Franklin Transit is developing the 2018 Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan (HSTP).

You are invited to attend a workshop to provide information for the HSTP to be held on Friday, July 13 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Ben Franklin Transit, 1000 Columbia Park Trail in Richland.
A goal of the workshop is to gather views and experiences of transportation service providers and their clients to ensure their perspectives are represented in the final report. Attendees will be encouraged to recognize and talk about gaps or unmet needs in the client transportation system. A following discussion will identify potential strategies and solutions to address those needs.

If you have any questions concerning the HSTP or the workshop, please feel free to contact Len Pavelka at 509-943-9185 or lpavelka@bfcog.us.
