Public Open House

Join the Benton-Franklin Council of Governments & Ben Franklin Transit Wednesday, August 30th from 5:00PM-6:30PM at the Ben Franklin Transit Administration Building to learn about and provide feedback on future transportation plans and projects.

The TIP, a federally mandated document, is a planning document of current transportation projects planned to be completed or constructed in the upcoming four years in the Benton-Franklin region. Click here to view the Draft TIP.

BFCG is hosting a short series of public Open Houses for our Metropolitan/ Regional Transportation Plan, called Transition2040.


What is Transition2040?

The Metropolitan/ Regional Transportation Plan (M-RTP) is a federally mandated comprehensive evaluation of the area’s transportation needs. This plan acts as a guides for transportation development for 20 years and is updated every 5 years.

When are the open houses?

The open houses will take place at the following locations:

March 23rd, 2017 from 4-7PM
Mid-Columbia Library (Kennewick Branch)
1620 S Union St.
Kennewick, WA 99336

and

March 28th, 2017 from 4-7PM
Pasco Public Library
1320 W Hopkins St.
Pasco, WA 99301

The Transition2040 Open Houses are open to the general public. All are welcome to attend!
